Adoptable Kittens Etched in My Heart works with local cat rescue groups such as "Feline Charities" to help them when things get crazy! Over the last few years, we have raised many abandoned kittens to make them ready for "forever homes". Although it is a bit of work outside our normal work routines, it has been super fun having them running and playing and creating a lot of mischief around the office. Sad to see them leave but happy that we found them all loving families and new homes, we take a break a ready ourselves for the next for the next little set of mischief furrballs! Howl'o'ween Pet Parade
This year the Etched in My Heart team had the opportunity to be a vendor at the annual Haute Dog Howl'o'ween Pet Parade! Thousands of dogs and their families dress up and participate in one of the biggest pet parades in the world! All proceeds are donated. We had so much fun meeting everyone and even left with a few new fur-iends! Check out this video from the event: Forever in My Heart: Go Wild
Everyday we receive emails and reviews from happy customers that touch our hearts. It is not uncommon to find Dolly, our manager, crying after reading kind words that were sent to her. We recently had an order that reminded us why what we do is so important: "I received the frame today, that I ordered last Friday. The frame was for my best friend who had to put her Mustang "Go Wild" down. She has had Go Wild since she was 16 and was a gift from her late Grandpa.
Nickie and Go Wild barrel race together for
several years. He was "retired" for about 10 years, living on
Heins farm.
Go Wild was loved by so many people. He was the reason why my daughter was obsessed with horses. When I have Nickie the frame, she weld up with tears, as I did. It maybe a simple frame, but it meant a lot to both her and I. Thank you for what you Do!
Michelle Fun Times At the Etched In My Heart Facility
After searching high and low, she discovered this little ball of fur hiding in one of the wheel-wells. Full of fleas and a little oil, Freeway (as he was soon called) had his first bath. Soon after, PetSave was able to find him a nice loving home and as far as we know, he is a devoted indoor cat...no more cars for him!
Having been an outside cat for as long as we have known him, we were a little afraid that he would not adapt well to being inside at our new location. As cats do, Mr. H is sampling a new bed to call his own (as we all know, one of about 300 others scattered throughout the building). This 'bed' is actually in preparation for this weeks hay truck arrival. We will continue to add fun stories and photos as they happen.
